Polycom HDX Video Conference Systems  have completed interoperability testing with Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.0 and 6.0.  

Polycom has annaounced the completion of interoperability testing of the Polycom HDX series of video conference room and personal systems with Cisco Unified Communications Manager version 6.0 and 7.0.

This interoperability is another key step toward helping  customers easily deploy Polycom  video conferencing systems  with standards-based technology integration and open interoperability. This interoperability assures all customers  who use Cisco Unified Communications Manager that they can confidently and seamlessly natively deploy Polycom HDX systems, taking advantage of, for example, Cisco Communications Manager’s bandwidth management capabilities. This means more revenue and less cost to deploy.

All Polycom solutions for Cisco Unified Communications Manager share a common dial plan with Cisco IP telephony or video endpoints. That makes them easy to use and deploy, and allows our customers to connect using a variety of device types in a point-to-point or multipoint conference.
